On March 6, ‘Change is coming to the Middle East’, when your favorite police officers, make their stage debut in Police Academy: Insurgency Emergency. After a terrorist attack hits close to home, the gang is called to action by the Iraqi government to teach their unique brand of law enforcement in an effort to improve the country’s security. But can Mahoney, Jones, Tackleberry, Hooks and the rest of them stop screwing around long enough to bring safety to the country and solve the mystery behind the insurgent attacks? Will the Iraqi Police Force be able to use their new knowledge to help stop the war on terror and take their country back? Or will their hi-jinks do even more damage then good? A loving, yet irreverent tribute to the 'Police Academy' movie series of the 80's & 90's, Police Academy: Insurgency Emergency will restore your faith in what we all can do to make the world a better place…or at least help you smile about it.
Police Academy: Insurgency Emergency runs Friday and Saturday nights at 10:30 pm, March 6 through April 11, 2009 at National Pastime Theater, 4139 N. Broadway in Chicago. Advance tickets are $15 and can be purchased at www.nmtchicago.org or reserved by calling 312-458-9083. Special discount offer for law enforcement! All local law enforcement and fire fighters receive a $5 discount for full price tickets (or $10 discount for two) by showing their credential. Discount available when advance reservations are made via telephone or for walk ups (if space is available) and will be applied at the box office. This discount is not available for online purchases.
