by Stephen Sondheim & George Furth to open New Millennium Theatre’s 2001 Season

New Millennium Theatre Company will open its 2001 Season with Getting Away With Murder by Stephen Sondheim & George Furth, playing January 3rd –February 3, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm.

An esteemed Psychiatrist has selected, out of countless applicants, several individuals Group therapy. On this particular evening the members of the Group gather as usual only to discover that the doctor has been murdered. Who did it? To call the police will subject them to reckless scandal and relentless investigation, so a collective decision is made to try to solve the murder themselves. The play then is propelled by a series of twists and turns and red herrings, along with some hold-your-breath shocks, culminating in an explosive surprise ending. Will someone actually be "getting away with murder?"

The cast of Getting Away With Murder includes Kevin Gladish, Fred Saldone, Dale Jackson, Don Prather, Libby Piper, Leslie Kerrigan, Martti Nelson, Jon Sattler, Victor Solorzano, Thurston Cobb & LaQuita Cleare. Directed by Chad Wise, Assistant Directed by Allison Schaffer.

All performances are in the Boxer Rebellion Theater, 1257 W. Loyola, 1 block west of the Red Line Loyola ‘L’ Stop in Rogers Park. Performances run January 3rd through February 3rd. Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm. Two sspecial Saturday Matinees on January 27th & February 3rd.
