Steven D. Attanasie Jr.

Steven Attanasie NMTC

Steven Attanasie is that rare writer/director/actor that is not a member of the Coppola family. Steve attended Catawba College in North Carolina (don't worry, he's never heard of it either) where he attained a BFA in Theatre Arts Directing, and that means he's qualified to do this for a living (not that he's getting paid). Steve lives in Chicago with his beautiful, wonderful, talented, amazing daughters Clementine and Elanora, in addition to his wife Rachel. With New Millennium, Steve directed "Cubicle: An Office Space Musical," which the Chicago Reader raved "feels as long as a Friday at the office." He also co-wrote and directed "Manos: Rock Opera of Fate" which Time Out Chicago called "a busy, fussy extravaganza that’s ultimately nonsense." And he is the creator of "The David Bowie Christmas Special 1977" which actually got good reviews! His favorite roles include Jesus in "Jesus Christ Superstar," Jesus in "Godspell" and Jesus in "The Nativity Play."
