Sean Harklerode
Sean Harklerode graduated from the University of North Carolina where he didn’t do theatre, but did work on the Student Television variety show, “Off the Cuff.” He then came to Chicago to study improv and theatre. Aside from a few years of stand-up in Los Angeles, he’s been here ever since.
Despite his insistence that he “doesn’t do” musicals, the audition notice for New Millennium’s “Cubicle: An Office Space Musical” proved too tempting, and the rest, as they say, is history. He won the role of Lumbergh, and just kept coming back, appearing in “Shakesploitation II: Iambic Boogaloo” & “Manos: Rock Opera of Fate,” before joining the company in 2008.
Since then, he’s appeared in “Villains,” “The David Bowie Christmas Special 1977” & “Police Academy: Insurgency Emergency.” Most recently, he stepped off the stage to write and direct his first play, “Plans 1 Through 8 from Outer Space.”
