Meagan Piccochi was introduced to the New Millennium Theatre Company in 2002 when she became assistant to director Chad Wise for the first production of Evil Dead: The Musical at the Rowhouse Theatre in Uptown. After running lights and sound for Miyagi! A Karate Kid Musical and stage managing I Know What You Did Last Shermer, she appeared onstage in Boomstick! A Musical Parody of Darkness (for which she was also Musical Director) and as the original Aqua Nettie in The Flaming Dames in Slippery When Wet. Since then she has morphed into NMTC's Director of Music and has choreographed for each Dames show since 2006's Talk Dirty to Me. Her favorite title is composer/lyricist for such smash hits as Cubicle! An Office Space Musical, Manos: Rock Opera of Fate, The Texas Chainsaw Musical, Naughtier and Nicer, The Flaming Dames in Torch, and The Flaming Dames in Torch present Have a Very Sexy Christmas (the latter two she also directed). Meagan has a B.A. in Musical Theatre with a minor in Creative Writing from Catawba College and has also worked professionally as an actor for the Nebraska Theatre Caravan and the Granbury Opera House in Texas, and also as a scenic artist for the Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut.
