Ky Rankin
Ky’s first experience with NMTC was as a bartender back in 2007 at The Spot where she first saw The Flaming Dames perform and has been with them ever since. Ky has been performing, dancing and hamming it up since around birth, but later in life received her B.A. from Columbia College Chicago in Classical theater emphasizing on Shakespeare and has a minor in Theatrical make-up design. Aside from NMTC and the Flaming Dames, she has also performed with Polarity Ensemble Theater Company and Nothing Without a Company here in Chicago and has performed Shakespeare around much of the Northern part of the state. Ky is also a certified Actor Combatant, Veteran of the US Air Force, costumer, shoulder to cry on, sound guy, groupie and stage manager on an as needed basis. When she’s not performing, she can usually be found at some type of live music performance and vows to keep on rocking no matter what life throws her way. Ky would like to thank each part of NMTC for all of their hard work, their dedication, their passion, their support and their ideas. You guys are simply amazing!
