From an early age, Ericka has studied music and theatre, and has been writing and recording her own music for over a decade, releasing several demos of original work. On stage she has worked with several companies over the years such as Circle Theatre, Second City, Village Players, Cornerstone, Excalibur Shakespeare, and Beverly Arts Center. Her favorite productions include Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, The Wiz, The Buddy Holly Story, West Side Story, The Wild Party, Godspell, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and The Life. Ericka has also been a member of the Women’s Schola Choir at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago since 1995.
Ericka began working with NMTC as one of the original Flaming Dames in “Sin-troducing” and has been a staple of Chicago’s premier concept burlesque troupe ever since, appearing in over eight productions. She became a company member in 2007 and has provided additional contributions as a Costume Designer (Danger Zone) and costume / cabaret consultant with The Flaming Dames.
