Ellen Domonkos
Ellen Domonkos is a proud burlesque dancer and choreography manager for New Millennium Theatre Company’s Flaming Dames. Ellen started her career in dance: training with amazing local teachers and professional workshops with Douglas Dunn, Cleo Parker Robinson Company, David Taylor Company, Kim Robbards Company, ACDF and many others. She attended Casper College where she got two degrees in dance and theatre. She then attended Point Park College: Conservatory of Performing Arts as a musical theater major. The fates later brought her to wonderful Chicago. Ellen worked with theater companies throughout Chicago until she discovered where she belonged: New Millennium Theatre Company. She started off as a bouncy bimbo in the well-known show “Hack/Slash.” After that she decided to take a risk and audition for their burlesque troupe: the Flaming Dames. Ellen has been performing with the Flaming Dames since 2006. With the Flaming Dames, Ellen has performed all across Chicagoland and Detroit at private events and public events such as Flashback Weekend, Dirty Show Detroit, and Cruefest. Ellen has been choreographing for the Flaming Dames since 2007. She has also choreographed for Gorilla Tango. She would like to thank NMTC, Leslie, Chad and Joe for being so supportive of her artistic endeavors and their constant aid in allowing her to blossom.
