Steve hails from New Jersey, a fact he won't admit in mixed company. He lives in Chicago with his wife Rachel and their daughter Clementine, another fact he won't admit in mixed company. Steve earned his BFA in Theatre Arts Directing from Catawba College in NC (yeah, he's never heard of it either). He got into theatre for the drugs and the women, and he sees no end to that in sight, and no beginning for that matter. His first exposure to the Chicago theatre scene was at the Sheridan Red Line stop, where he was subsequently arrested for indecent exposure. He then appeared in Shakesploitation (both incarnations) & directed Cubicle: An Office Space Musical which the Chicago Reader raved "feels as long as a Friday at the office." He is currently pursuing legal action against the producers of Steve Attanasie The Musical despite their repeated claims that the show has nothing to do with him.
